Well, to start off, I'd like to say I'm sorry; usually I try to get one update in per month but this one kinda just dragged on. It's been two months since Version 2 has been out and sadly, it hasn't recieved the same welcome as the first one. These god damn "next gen" consoles don't help either. With everyone either buying a "purse" or that horrible monstorsity that is known as the "Xbox", people are leaving PSO behind. Back in the October, it was packed on the servers, now, its slowly dying. Some of our members have "quit", others have just disappeared. On the other hand, some of us still play for 10 hours each day and remain "hardcore" to the MAX! |

Member Status Ogs - Well, dummed "trigger" by tick for his rampaging Pick skills, Ogs, is 145+. He got his "VOLTRON SWORD", which we all agreed was the lamest name possiblefor a S-Rank, sometime in Novemeber, I guess. But then he bought an Xbox, so that's the end of him.......he claims that he'll come back to PSO. Assy - He's "officially" quit; with a "I'm quitting" thread and everything (see below). He was somewhere in the 120's I think. tick - Tick continues to play like a madman. His (or her) HUcast is up to 140 and wowie is in the 130's. With 2 S-Ranks down, tick is the personnification of "hardcoreness" in Team Cake. Farhan - I hardly play PSO anymore, I go on for "visits" and end up spending like 2 hours in lobby talking to people. I'm 112 right now, and I think it took me about a month and a half to get from 110 to 112. However, I'm most certainly not done with this game. Redlightsaber - Back in October, he was leveling up a storm, but as soon as Civ 3 came out, that all came to a swift end. He hasn't been heard from in the last week or so, appartrently, all he does is play Civ 3 now. He'll be back though....or will he??!? Vegeta - He's pretty much done with PSO. He's absolutely in love with MGS2, but then again who isn't? He also hates Trigonometry. Osmo - He left for a while, but he's back these days working hard trying to get his "BLOOD SHOT". Osmo's RAcast is in the high 120's or low 130's. Rubashov - A new PS2 owner who's beening having too much fun with it to be on PSO too much. He's been back for the last little while. "Ill" is in the 120's. Autobots - He bought an Xbox, therefore, he's pretty much quit PSO. Sephfire - I haven't played with seph or talked to him for a long time, so I don't really know what's going on with him. Wanx - The TC Perv got a "purse" (aka Gamecube), so he hasn't been heard from very much. A2K - He still plays PSO, and still sends very odd simple mail to everyone. He scares the majority of people on PSO with his crazy remarks. Soccerbandit - With hopes of getting to 200 washed away because he could never get online, he has gone into hiding. He gets the honour (notice the Canadian spelling) of being Team Cake's Poser of the Month....~zing!~. Mike - [face_plain] Shwimp - Is the first TC member to reach 200. His extreme hardcoreness set him above and beyond the average player. Unfortunately, he longer plays........fricking Xbox. Ghana - If anyone knows what happened to Ghana, I'd like to hear it. Russ - Still plays and posts on a regular basis. He's like a constant in the turbulent world of PSO. x00x - Hmmm, looks like I'm gonna have to go with [face_plain] on this one too. |

So there's a little blurb on what everyone's been up to. Now in the past two months, several members have suggested to me that TC should have an online store as we're all in pretty shabby financial status, except red, he's made of money. Unfortunately, after seeing our competion in the "TK Online Store", I realized that we don't have a fighting chance. I mean "Osmo Auto-Creaming Action Pants" can only go so far against "The Ultimate Online T-Shirt".
The Boards have been full of posts like this (above) recenly, the "old schoolers" are dropping like flies. Yet, we continue to push the limit of off topic posts on the board (see below).
Once again, we see Rub's intelligence is far beyond the average person, and that's why he continues to pick up hot rich girls. However, there still are some truly hardcore people left on the boards, tick being my primary example. It's amazing how devoted this hobo is to this game.
So in closing, I hope the next update won't take 2 months to be up, but for now, this one is up, so you can continously read this one. I personally believe that the last 2 months of PSO and Team Cake's super happy fantastic fun fun hour adventures can be best summed up by this picture.
