| Wow, first and foremost, I'd like to say that our prayers are with those who were lost, and their families, during the terrorist attacks that occurred on September 11, 2001. I really can't think of much to say except that all of you will be remembered forever. Now, more than any other time, we must come together as a society and show these "people" that senseless acts of violence cannot destroy our culture. All they have done is brought us closer as a people, and now we stand united against evil. |

Now, for the actual Cakewalk itself. We've all went through a lot but the eve of Version 2 is upon us. A lot of 100's have been reached in the last month, and some are quite close now. As far as my memory serves me, OGS has been modded in the last month also, so a big congrats goes out to him. Team Cake made it to the Boardies, which were organized by Rub, a TCer, and our members pulled down several awards. The team itself was runner-up in the Best Team/Clan category after only 3 months of being established.
As we bid farewell to Phantasy Star Online, (version 1 that is), we look back on all the moments we've had playing this remarkable game. I know, speaking from a personal standpoint, I've made at least one very close friend because of PSO, and I'm sure the rest of us have also experienced this. We've all invested countless hours into this game, some more than others (making them "hardcore" and so forth), and not one of us regrets it.
The latest pics come from a run tick, Rub, Russ, & me did on September 4th. Since then, Rub has hit 100 and Russ is at level 99 (we'll have more on this further on), yet Pharhan remains at level 89. In these pics, Russ reveals his big secret to us, tick gives us his (or her????) critical analysis of the PSO servers, and Rub suffers from Broadband withdrawal.

It's amazing what some of us have done for this game, I think I missed a chance at a University Scholarship, Russ, is selling is fricken car for Version 2 (see pic below), how hardcore is that. Tick has a picture of all six of this characters framed on the wall and a picture of wowie hitting 100 on his fridge. OGS has some sort of infinite ISP problem, yet he still manages to get on, while this week, "mike" broke the 2000 hour mark on the game.
Well, that's pretty much it for Version 1, who knows what lies ahead for Team Cake, a joke that turned into this. In closing I'd like to share with you something tick said about us.
